This quilt was made for my eldest daughter for her 15th birthday. She had outgrown her kindergarten quilt and needed something that would take her into her adulthood. I chose to depict the activities and sense of adventure she has, as well as her love of quietude and contemplation.
A collection of old T-shirts makes up the back of the quilt. All of the T-shirts commemorate events and activities of my daughter's life.

This quilt was pieced and quilted within 2 months. Made for my son's 17th birthday, it portrays the animals he really loves -- terrapins. Mind you, dinosaurs rank up at the top, as do birds, so maybe he'll need another quilt soon!

And the latest quilt, finished in 2011, was made for my youngest as her kindergarten blanket fell to pieces. She chose her design and I then hand-quilted it with patterns portraying her interests: camping, hiking, drama, euphonium, etc.
